I’ve been looking to get a underwater case since last summer for the iPhone 4, now with the iPhone 5 out I started looking again. LifeProof was one of the front runners with what seems to be the slimmest case, but has not been available for the iPhone 5 until now.
I have to admit when I took a look at the case that would be protecting my “precious” I was taken back a bit. It looked a bit flimsy but was understandable since it is such a slim case. So without too much hesitation I followed the instructions… testing the case first without the phone submerged in water for an hour. OK. Then securing the phone and giving it a go.
It worked. My phone survived it’s first underwater experience. But be advised I did get my phone wet getting it out of the case, no harm done though. So if your in the market for an underwater case check out the LifeProof case. Please don’t blame me if the case fails, also don’t skip the water test even if it is a brand new case.

I was probably one of the last generations to watch Macgyver before it finally made it to DVD. I remember vividly when my sister forgot to set the VCR to record the Macgyver movie… devastated. I got over it, anyway I’ve always dreamt of seeing a revival and it’s here… sort of. Thanks to the overseas branch of Mercedes I can get excited to watch another episode of present day Macgyver, well webisodes anyway. It’s even approved by the creator of MacGyver, Lee David Zlotoff. Have Siri set a reminder for September 18th to check out Macgyver-citan.com ! Head over to the site now to check out the trailer.
