DRUMROLL….

Imagine a universe where internet leaks did not occur. Imagine this is the first time you’re reading and seeing these kicks. Please. It’ll make me feel better. I love that people are so excited about these Staple x New Balances, that pictures leaked all over the interwebs about a week ago. But it really kind of messed me up. MONTHS ago, along with the NB Team, we had planned for us to release full details and photos of these 575s on 8/12. Why is everything so precisely scheduled? Because other things are happening in this world. And as (bad) luck would have it, the 575s leaked on the afternoon our big Airwalk Launch on 7/28. The clash kind of nullifies both events in a way. Takes the air out of both projects we worked hard to do. And by the time these kicks are available to the public I feel like they are “old news”. (Old in internet standards anyway.)
Anyway, I’m bitching. I’m more happy that people are so excited about this release that they want the info as soon as possible…so I can’t be mad at that. But just know I have a plan for everything. Every step I take is calculated and every move I make happens for a reason. Please just allow my shit to breathe and appreciate it for what is it. When it is. And for real…to everyone…even the guys who leaked the shoe, thanks for the fervor and the support.

インタネットの流出がない世の中を想像してください。このキックスについて初めて読んでいることにしてください。お願いします。僕のために。たくさんの人たちがこのStaplexNew Balanceを楽しみにしていて、一週間前に写真がネットでリークされた事を嬉しく思います。でも、少しめちゃくちゃにされた気分です。何ヶ月も前にNBチームと8月12日にこの575の写真と詳細をリリースする事を計画していました。なぜ、そこまで緻密に計画されていたか？なぜなら、この世界ではほかの事が起こっているからです。そして、（不）運にも、その575が7月28日、Airwalk Launchのお昼にリークされました。この出来事は両方のイベントを無効にしてしまったような気がします。両方共とても力が入ったプロジェクトで、その勢いを止めてしまったような。そして、これらのキックスがみんなの手元に届く時にはすでに古いニュースになってしまいます。（インターネットの基準で古いという意味。）
ちょっと愚痴りましたが、人々が凄く楽しみだから、できるだけ早く情報がほしいという事についてはとても嬉しいです。だから怒れない。ただ、僕は全ての事に対してプランがあります。一つ一つのステップは計算され、全てのことに理由があります。僕のやる事や出すものをそのままの状態を受け止めてください。そして、その時期も。最後に、みんなに．．．シューズのを流出した人たちにも、熱情とサポートをありがとう。
