Carsten Nicolai, also known as Alva Noto, or Noto is a German artist and musician based in Berlin. He uses “art and music as complementary tools to create microscopic views of creative processes”. He runs a music label called Raster-Noton with Olaf Bender. I’ve been a fan of his work for a while now and I can’t wait to see what he’ll be coming up with next.
