Unfortunately, “creationtism” is not a real word. This was seriously hard to bear. I think, perhaps that, teaching evolution may be the least of their problems concerning the American education system… just sayin’.

Obligatory grammar police post, which is required if you’re dumping on other folks for their poor English.
“This was seriously hard to bare.”
It’s “bear” as in “bear a burden.”
Your next sentence is barely English at all, but you’ve got another basic English mistake in there worth pointing out:
“I think, perhaps that, teaching evolution maybe the least of their…”
It should be “may be” as in “might be” not the other conjoined version, which means “perhaps” or “it’s a possibility.”
I’m sure it’s very rewarding for you to dig on Creationists and all but you may want to try harder to avoid looking like a dumb— while getting that self-righteous high.
Eesh that was unexpected, tough crowd tonight….
My grade 11 English teacher would probably love to high-5 you right about now—this is basically how he reacted to my writing—and insisted that I go back to ESL. I probably should have in retrospect.
I will apologize to you for butchering the English language, but this post was NOT for me to dig on Creationists, and not in anyway a self-righteous statement. I was merely amused that one girl fumbled on “creationism” and said “creationtism”. The point for me is that these pageants are so far from reality and in my opinion, a silly tradition. The “real talk” segments are always amusing to watch. (And by god please don’t respond by saying that I’m just harshing on pretty girls now….) This is not my blog, I will not use it for my personal political or religious agenda (not like I have any, anyway).
For the record, you can believe in whatever it is that you want to believe, and I will not judge you for it, because I expect the same from my peers. I also hope you don’t get so worked up about every little thing on the internets, it’s just not good for the health.
Yours truly, Lily
Yes, some of the contestants aren’t the brightest. Yet, I think most of them did well with their response, because I still can’t really think of a great response, i’d fumble in real time.
I personally liked “knowledged”
