We recently went out to Common Magazine‘s 5th anniversary event! Common Magazine is a free quarterly magazine that covers art, music, fashion, street culture in Japan and all around the world. They’re based in Sendai, Japan; one of the worst hit areas of the 3.11 earthquake disaster. Our friends at Common Magazine and Delicious (their clothing store that also carries STPL!) not only wanted to celebrate their 5th year anniversary of their magazine but also wanted to do something bigger for their community and decided to make it a charity event where all proceeds will be donated to the Japanese Red Cross. When I contacted Jeff about supporting this event, he offered to send 300 of his #helpjapan pins. Check out the photos of the peeps rocking the pins and spreading the support! It was the first time to see our friends at Common Magazine after the disaster, so it was great seeing all of them together and having a good time!
