So Eddie Huang & Evan Huang of Baohaus recently opened up their second restaurant on 14th Street (between 2nd & 3rd ave). Eddie and I are huge fans of hiphop & rap, so we decided to collaborate on a little art project. I illustrated various items on the Baohaus menu, and via teamwork we came up with a bunch of rap verses to accompany each piece.
We got Action Bronson, Tribe Called Quest, Camron, Juelz Santana, Lil Wayne, Waka Flocka, YADADADA MEAN! See if you recognize any!

There will be a second art wall coming so stay tuned in the upcoming weeks! Come visit the restaurant to see these pieces for yourself!
Baohaus 2 is located at:
238 E 14th Street
(between 2nd and 3rd Avenue)

[...] The pieces are hanging there now so if you want to check them out, just head on in, order something, and see if you can figure out what’s what. If you’re not in NYC, you can experience it in a more removed state by looking at the pictures on the Staple Design blog. [...]

Hey Sophia,
I ran into this blog and this is really amazing! I used to be in your packaging class at Parsons, I don’t know if you remember me? But anyway, nice to know you are doing really well after Parsons!
