I recently watched the Tribe Called Quest documentary called “Beats, Rhymes & Life” by Michael Rapaport. Loved it! Being a Queens native growing up in the 90′s, it was nice to see how a group like Tribe started. The photos, footage, interviews, title sequence all came together. There is so much rich history behind this group, and hiphop culture. It made me very reminiscent of a time period I never really got to experience. I’d love to see them perform one day!
