A few months ago, jeff asked me to explain this YouTube video.
This is a demonstration of a coordinated and very synchronized act by the students of the renowned Nippon Sports Science University. Every 2 years, the university holds a presentation of these group acts as well as research results in relation to athletics and sports education. It is open to any audience to encourage a better understanding of the school and is said to be one of the highlights of their academic events.
I didn’t know about this until jeff asked me about it, but Nippon Sports Science University is more famous for the “Essassa” which is the act by a group of men in white trunks yelling “Essa! Essa! Essassaaaa!!” (kind of like a chant to get hyped up) as they change formations and perform in synchronized motions.
