Recently the good people at HSC (Hester Street Collaborative) asked me to come and be a guest judge for their Senior design project. The kids were asked to design a t-shirt based off a social message they wanted to address. It was such an awesome experience. These kids not only have to come up with the concept for the design, they also have to design it and then they get to learn how to silkscreen it as well. (Their first time for everything!) I tried to add my 2 cents in terms of design, execution and process…these guys offer a bright future for American design. Big ups to the HSC!
