Jeff stopped through Berlin for a hot second during the Berlin Fashion Week, and is now, once again on the interwebs—this time with our friends at MADE for their Visions of Visionaries series. I love it when friends play nice together…

Check out this musical representation of the MTA subway system. It’s very intriguing, and gives off a feeling like your searching for a secret message within the sounds hidden away on some “national treasure” trip.

A user-created video using amazing imagery and Carl Sagan.
“Damewse” says: I got frustrated with NASA and made this video. NASA is the most fascinating, adventurous, epic institution ever devised by human beings, and their media sucks. Seriously. None of their brilliant scientists appear to know how to connect with the social media crowd, which is now more important than ever. In fact, NASA is an institution whose funding directly depends on how the public views them.
In NASA’s defense, they have embraced social media. I guess my point is that they don’t fully understand how to best use it. In all of their brilliance, NASA seems to have forgotten to share their hopes and dreams in a way the public can relate to, leaving one of humanity’s grandest projects with terrible PR and massive funding cuts.
The All Gone book tour made it’s first stop into Berlin last week. I came out of semi-retirement and offered my services behind the wheels. In other words, I warmed up the turntables for the true star of the night: Busy P. The “Made” space in Berlin provided the perfect setting: Good people. Good event. Good times! Full update and photos can be seen here. I know a lot of you are wondering…will a NYC stop occur?! No one knows! But you’ll be the 2nd to know it here!
Stumbled across this short by Saul Bass from 1968. Not what I expected from Mr. Bass, but alas still worth the ponder.
