Joya the NYC-based fragrance and home ambiance innovator. Baxter of California, the premium men’s grooming line since 1965. And Reed Space, a NYC pioneer in the concept of a “lifestyle boutique”, have all joined forces to create “LAPSANG NOIR”.
LAPSANG NOIR is a smoky, steaming black Lapsang Souchong Tea with inflections of exotic Indonesian herbal tones over a warm and radiant white floral mix of Tuberose, Pikaki, Ylang Ylang and Jacaranda blossoms.
We were burning the Baxter “Noir” Candle Series at the Staple Design HQ as well as Reed Space on a regular basis. It’s a unanimous favorite for everyone. This inspired us to create a custom scent that was uniquely ours, but still, shared the spirit of Baxter of California and Joya. The result is something that took 15 months to create and we are supremely proud of this collaboration: LAPSANG NOIR.
The Lapsang Noir candle will be available in two sizes: HALF KILO ($84) and FULL KILO ($151). The large
black wax candles have impressive burn times of 100 hours and 200 hours respectively. You can find the candles at Reed Space in NYC and at Baxter Finley (Baxter’s Barber Shop) in Los Angeles. Additionally the candles will be available online at select retail partners.

LAPSANG NOIRはスモーキーで湯気がでるようなラプサンスーション茶と微かなエギゾチックなインドネシアのハーブにゲッカコウ、ピカキ、イランイランやハカランダの花の暖かい香りを調和しました。
Staple Design本社とReed SpaceでBaxter「Noir」キャンドルシリーズを常に灯していました。みんなのダントツの人気でした。僕たちだけのカスタムセントだけど、Baxter of CaliforniaとJoyaの精神を受け継いだものを作るきっかけになりました。15ヶ月もの月日が経ち、その結果にできたこのコラボレーション商品をとても誇りに思います：LAPSANG NOIR。
このLapasang Noirキャンドルは2つのサイズでご用意しました：1/2キロ（$84）と1キロ（$151)。この大きな黒いロウソクはそれぞれ100時間と200時間という長い燃焼時間を誇ります。これらのロウソクはニューヨークのReed SpaceとロスのBaxter Finley (BaxterのBarber Shop）で販売されています。また、オンラインでも販売される予定です。

The vessel itself is printed with a black on black pattern that also indicates how much wax is left in your candle. As more of the candle burns, more of the graphic is revealed. 入れ物自体にも黒の線が入っていて、どれくらいロウが残っているか見られます。ロウソクを燃やすほど、グラフィックが浮き出てきます。
