Jeff – a long shot but would you happen to know what the last jazzy track is on the end credits? Shit is dope – need that track and searched R+I but no luck. Thanks for posting!

  2. Paul Kim says:

Great doco! Very relevant for our times.

  3. James D. says:

This is so dope. It’s awesome whenever you can get the opinion of so many influential people on one topic, especially one as vast and interesting as this.
I like that you brought up Hiroshi and how he is able to influence so many people without speaking a word.
    Very cool.

  4. Andrew says:

Incredible, well shot, well edited, and genuinely interesting

I’m looking to go into fashion journalism, and this was inspiring, thank you

justin – that track is Akiko – Love Theme From Spartacus…loads of different versions out there, Yusef Lateef, Terry Callier, Ramsey Lewis – take your pick…they are all good.

Nice documentary by the way. Thanks for sharing.

This so called doc looks cool. There are a lot of cool people in it. But outside of our hero from staple and a photo of Jay Z, everybody is WHITE! So let’s celebrate whiteness and forget where the culture actually comes from. America rewards whites for being able to “identify” culture, but the folks who create culture get written off with the next hipster williamsburger trend. Oh, and fader man is inspired by the black Africans who have nothing and can run real fast. That’s very hip hop. Big Daddy Kane wanted Ethiopians to eat at Red Lobster for free.

Influencers? More like honkee-sta-doors (minus Staple and a picture of Jigga, who, according from some French dude, came from NOTHING).

And there is nothing better than quietly highlighting those bronze figures that popped up on the streets and rooftops of the 23rd street area. Bravo! It gave this doc a really scary feel. White Influencers ARE scary (minus Staple, who is Asian. And a photo of Jay Z).

Oh: you should go back and interview the black guy from Team Epiphany. The other guy from Team Epiphany was cool, but a black influencer type might provide some balance. Then again, whites were the ones picking out the slaves way back when so maybe he DOESN’T make sense.

  8. Tom says:

blackula – your so called rant sounds a bit prepackaged. And by a bit, I mean totally.

And way off base. Did you even watch the vid?

  9. jbravo says:

Wish I watched this video before I read blackula’s comment.

Think that overall the vid was pretty balanced as far as presenting a diverse group of influencers, especially considering the 13minute time frame.
