HNL Airport is awesome. Much of it has no walls so you’re immediately welcomed by the breezy tradewinds. HNL空港は最高です。ほとんど壁がないため、到着するとすぐにそよ風が出向いてくれます。

Love this sign at the local ice cream shop. They ask for two forms of ID, the first and most important of course being your Costco Card! 地元のアイスクリーム屋さんのサインが面白い。2種類のIDの提示が必要と書かれているが、一番最初にコストコのカードって！

I got a chance to do some hiking at Diamond Head Crater which offers spectacular views of Oahu. The trek takes you through lots of trails, steep stairs and tunnels. Pretty cool and good workout also. Love this photo: The light at the end of my tunnel.
Diamond Head Craterでオアフ島の絶景が見られるハイキングをしました。この道のりには沢山の小道、急な階段とトンネルがありました。面白かったし、いい運動にもなりました。この写真が大好きです：トンネルの向こうの光。
I also had 2 guest speaking engagements while in town. The first was with a group of students from AIGA Honolulu. The second was the main one at the Halekulani Hotel, the island’s only 5-star resort. (I felt like an MC with all the Lei’s I received!) 滞在中に2回ほど、ゲストスピーカーとして講演をしました。最初はAIGA Honoluluの学生の前で一回。メインの2回目は島の唯一の５つ星リゾート、Halekulaniホテルでです。(レイをもらいすぎてMCの気分でした。）
very jealous. hawaii is so much harder to get to when living on the east coast. when i lived in the bay, it was just as easy as taking a road trip to la! glad you had fun, hope you were able to get some r&r!!
