I. Love. Berlin. ベルリン大好き。
It is such a great city. It has great energy, great people…very open. Affordable. And retains a grit that I find very appealing. To me, it is still one of the most exciting cities in the world. 本当にいい街です。雰囲気も人も．．．とてもオープンです。物価も手ごろ。そして、まだ少し泥臭いところが残っているのに惹かれます。僕にとって、やっぱり世界の中で一番面白い都市のひとつです。

Art is literally everywhere in Berlin…if you look out for it. ベルリンのそこら中にアートがあります．．．目を見張れば。

We showcased the STPL Spring 2011 collection at Premium this time. They have a section called Seek which includes other labels like Velour, Maharishi, Opening Ceremony, SixPack, Our Legacy and more. We opted against Bread & Butter this time around…it’s just getting too big for a niche brand like ours. I think BBB should forget doing tradeshows and just start an amusement park already. They’re competition is Disneyland at this point. 今回、2011年STPL春コレクションをPremiumで展示しました。そこではSeekという部があり、僕らのほかにVelour、Maharishi、Opening Ceremony、SixPack、Our Legacyなどのブランドが参加していました。今回はBread&Butterには参加しませんでした．．．僕たちみたいなニッチブランドにはあまりにも大きすぎになってしまったので。BBBはトレードショーの企画はやめて、遊園地を始めればいいと思います。彼らのライバルはもはやディズニーランドです。

Unprecedented for us…we showed at TWO fashion shows at the same time. We also did Bright, which is geared towards the skate and sneaker market. We showed our Staple graphics collection and it was A TON of fun. Really felt like early 90s ASR vibes. Everyone was having a great time. We did this specially-made Leader bike for the show. People were drooling all over! What is there NOT to love about a Pigeon-Inspired-Digi-Camo-Fixed-Gear-Bike?? 僕たちにとって初めての経験。２つのファッションショーに同時に参加しました。Brightという、スケートやスニーカー市場のためのショーにも参加しました。僕たちのStapleグラフィックコレクションを展示し、とても楽しかったです。90年代初期のASRのバイブスでした。みんなも楽しそうにしていました。このショーのために僕たちはLeaderバイクを特注しました。みんな釘付け！ピジョン風、Digi-Camo、フィックスバイクはヤバイでしょ？

Managed to do a tiny little bit of shopping on this trip. (Very little!) But I did pick up these joints that I have been searching for AGES! Thanks to the guys at the new shop SOTO for saving these! Errolson, head of Acronym is also on the creative team of Stone Island. His baby though, is the Stone Island Shadow Collection which premiered at Firmament this week. Amazing as usual…I would expect nothing less. Acronymのトップ、ErrolsonはStone Islandのクリエーティブチームにも参加しています。彼のベイビーは今週Firmamentで公開されたStone Island Shadowコレクションです。いつものように素晴らしかった．．．期待通り。

…oh yeah, a bunch o’bloggers were there too. ．．．あっ、そうそう、ブロガーもたくさんいました。

It was really fortuitous that we were in Europe for World Cup season AND that Germany had made it to the semis while we were in Berlin! The city was buzzzzin! Nike hosted a nice dinner gathering for some friends and broadcast the game live. Unfortunately, it didn’t turn out well for the Germans as they went down 1-0 to Spain. ワールドカップ開催中にヨーロッパにとドイツが準決勝まで進んだ時期にベルリンに滞在できた僕たちは幸運でした。街は大盛り上がり！Nikeは数人の仲間でディナーを開いてくれて、試合も生放送されました。残念ながら、ドイツはスペインに0-1で負けてしまいましたが。

I don’t know why but I stared at the entire process of this van getting towed. It’s much different than the way we do it in NYC (caveman style)…this method is so….German. Haha. なぜかこのバンがレッカー車に牽引されるのをずっと見てました。ニューヨーク式のやり方（野蛮人風）と違って、こちらのやり方はとても．．．ドイツっぽい。笑

Awesome leg tat of Lionel from Six Pack. Frank Miller would be proud. Six PackのLionelのヤバイ足タトゥー。Frank Millerはさぞ喜んだだろう。

So on my way home at TXL (Berlin’s Airport), I spotted this plane parked behind a hanger. This deserves a “What the what?!” A plane completely covered in green armor?! Can anyone shed some light on this please?! 帰国する時、TXL(ベルリン空港）で、この飛行機を発見しました。これは「何じゃこりぁ〜？！」ものです。全機体が緑色のアーマーに包まれた飛行機？！だれか解説できる人いませんか？！
