Wow! I’m so honored. The Staple x Nike Pigeon Dunk has just made into the Final Four of all-time greatest kicks on the Sneaker News Tournament. Chosen by y’all!! I’m also very proud that it is the only collaboration sneaker in the Final Four. The others are the Foamposite, the Air Jordan 11 and our semifinal round opponent, the all-mighty Nike Air Force One White-on-White! Very strong opponent! This is like when you played ping-pong against your grandfather who was also a Shaolin Monk. The AF1s are a classic. They are beyond classic actually. They’re a Hanes Tee. A Levi’s 501. Just a forever classic. Hell, I don’t expect the Pigeon to outdo the AF1. Especially if most voters are sneaker aficionados. BUT! I totally agree with Jordans vs. Dunks in the finals, however if that’s the case no other sneaker in history has ever starred in a feature film backed by warner bros.

Real talk should be Foams and Pigeons in Final with the Foams taking it home but, the hype heads voted Space Jams so hope Pigeons pull it out.
Pigeons are all hype and Jeff Staple’s plea for us to vote for them was lame. The pigeon is a nice colorway, but are popular because they are exclusive. Period. The white/white AF1 is legend status. Sure they are extremely attainable….why is that a negative? That is what is wrong with the culture today. I tell you what Jeff, get Nike to re-release the pigeon colorway as a general release and see how well they sell and how many “crack heads” on the corner are rocking them.
And BTW…in the Jordan category you aren’t voting on the colorway but the model. So you are voting on the XI MODEL not the space jam colorway. Reading in fundamental.
