I had to take one last pilgrimage to Tokyo before the year ended. At first, I was a bit dreading to take this trip because of the rest of the end of year madness that occurs. After seeing some of the things you’ve posted regarding Japan, I’m convinced that I should go next year. D’you have any travel tips (minimum number of days, airlines, places to check out, that kind of thing) for someone losing their Japan V-card. I’m sure you have alil bit more access than most, but I’m also sure that you could offer more interesting insight than the standard travel guides. Your loyal readers thank you.
First time? I say go 10-14 days. Go to Tokyo, Osaka, and Kyoto if you can.
I always take American Airlines. Best idea? Join an airline and stick with them. A round trip to Japan will get you halfway to a free trip.
