IMPRINT RECAP: MARC ECKO

Here’s the video recap of my 1-2-1 live at Imprint Culture Lab 2009 in NYC this past September.
Watch and learn kids. I want to give props to Marc for telling it like it is in front of a live audience. There are not many people that can get up there on stage and say the things he said. You could learn a thing or two about being humbled by watching this.
こちらが今年の9月、ニューヨークのImprint Culture Lab 2009で行われた1-2-1ライブのビデオクリップです。
これを観て学ぼう。観客の前で飾ることもなく正直に語ってくれたMarcにpropsを。ステージに上がり、彼と同じような事を語れる人は少ないと思います。これを観て、謙虚さに付いて学べると思います。

    in every interview i have watched of his, marc ecko always provides great useful advice.
    when are you going to do a 1-2-1 with yourself (i realize the difficulty in asking youself questions & filming it, but i’m confident you can pull it off)

    Thanks for posting, I enjoyed watching this. I was a huge fan back when he first came out with EcHo (I guess he had to change the spelling) but thought everything started falling off the moment you saw ECKO ECKO ECKO all over the actual product.

    Thanks for the interview. While not a huge fan of what Ecko does, i am more than willing to listen to what he has to say given all the success and failures he’s endured. The part about being caught up in emotional nostalgia was great to hear. Thanks again.

    I agree with the bit about closing off the emotional side when making a business pursuit. As a designer I’ve personally found that challenge, but once you take it easy, find a person to critique you (truthfully) and just keep producing, you put less pressure on yourself.
