I recently took my first ever trip to the Middle East. It is an amazing and eye opening region. Granted, Dubai is the most progressive city of the entire Middle Eastern region, but even with that, you can notice marked differences between Western ways and Middle Eastern ways. I’m so used to seeing “recreations” of places like this in Disneyworld or Epcot Center…It’s difficult to remember that you are in an actual Arabic country! このような「レクリエーション」の場所はディズニーワールドやエプコットセンターでしか見慣れていないので．．．本当のアラブ諸国にいる感覚がしなかったです！
This is Shelter. An amazing art space and retail store in Dubai. I was pleasantly surprised to see an elevated level of design and art here. In fact, I’ll do a separate post just about the all the amazing art I witnessed.
こちらはShelter。ドバイにあるすばらしいアートスペースと小売店。ここで洗練されたレベルの高いデザインとアートを拝見できた事がうれしい驚きでした。またこれはと別に、僕が見たすばらしいアートをブログアップします。
