  1. Anne Ishii says:

You should check out the VICE magazine article about ‘Ruin Porn.’ TIME’s coverage of Detroit uses pictures of buildings that have been abandoned since the 60s, and deliberately crop out all the businesses that are still up and running.

  2. I’M FROM DETROIT. AND THESE PICTURES SUM UP TWO POINTS. OF COURSE DETROIT IS STRUGGLE AND IS BARELY A SHADOW OF ITS FORMER SELF BUT, THESE PHOTOS ALSO IDENTIFY THE POTENTIAL OF THIS CITY. IT SHOWS OUR HERITAGE. LIKE YOUR BOY JAN CHIPCHASE SAID, LIMITATION LEADS TO INNOVATION AND TIMES OF UNCERTAINTY LEAD TO OPPORTUNITY. OR SOMETHING OF THAT SORT.

  3. BY THE WAY. DOPE SITE. I JUST GOT UP ON IT AFTER PURCHASING A PAIR OF YOUR AIRWALKS. (NIIIICE) INITIALLY THOUGHT OF YOU AS OVER EMPHASIZED BUT AFTER SEEING SOME OF YOUR THOUGHTS IN THIS BLOG I HAVE changed my mind. or rather you have.
