The photographer Matt Jones had an exhibition at Colette while I was in town and it was a great gathering of people I hadn’t seen in a long time. Unbelievably, this was the first time I had ever set foot in Colette. It is as good as its reputation.
僕がいた間、写真家のMatt JonesがColetteで展覧会をしていて、久々に会えた人々がいっぱいいた、いい集まりでした。信じられないかもしれませんが、これが僕がColetteの中に入ったのは初めてでした。評判どおりのいいお店。
Earlier that day, I visited the Visvim exhibition showing their SP10 Collection. As expected, it is off the charts and I want everything. INCLUDING the incredible hanger systems they devised to show their clothing. Hiroki spares no expense when it comes to presenting his collection.
展覧会の前に、僕はSP10コレクションのVisvim展示会に行ってきました。予想したとおり、かっこよすぎて、すべてほしかったです。彼らの洋服を見せる、すばらしいハンガーシステムまでほしいと思いました。コレクションを発表するためにHirokiはお金を惜しみません。
Finally, a chill dinner with Michael from Cool Cats/LaMJC/All Gone. This man likes to tell it like it is and that’s why it’s so fun to hangout with him. His favorite line: [in heavy french accent] “What is this? This is shit. I don’t understand.” haha…Oh, peep his kicks game.
最後に、Cool Cats/LaMJC/All GoneのMichaelとゆったりしたディナーをしました。この男は率直に物事を言うので、一緒にいるのが楽しい。彼のお気に入りの台詞は：（フランス人なまりで）「これはなんだ？これはクソだ。理解できない。」（笑）．．．彼のキックスをチェック。
