I just received my Dopplr report for the first half of 2009. Pretty surreal. In case you don’t know, Dopplr is a web based app that allows you to track your travels and allow others to share it. Every 6 months, they provide a travel report for you as well. Some pretty interesting stats.
For the first 6 months of 2009:
- I took 15 trips which added up to 128,412km (or 35% of the distance to the moon.)
- I was on the road for 65 days. Home for 116.
- Farthest visit? Hong Kong. Shortest? Boston.
- I visited Tokyo the longest.
Fitting that I’m writing this post from the gate at Long Beach Airport, awaiting my flight to go home.
先程、2009年前半期のDopplrレポートが届きました。けっこう凄いです。ご存知のない方に説明すると、Dopplrはウェブベースのアプリで、出張や旅行などの記録をとり、他のユーザーとシェアできるものです。半年ごとにトラベルレポートも作成してくれます。面白い数字が出てきます．．．
2009年前半期：
−僕は15回旅をし、距離でいうと、128,412km。（又は地球から月までの距離の35％）
−６５日間旅に出て、１１６日は家にいました。
−最長の旅？香港。 最短の旅？ボストン。
−一番長く滞在したのは東京でした。
しかも、家に帰る便をロングビーチ空港で待ちながら、このブログを書いています。
