KIEHL’S x BADU.

Kiehl’s recently got together with one of my favorite artists, Erykah Badu, for a collaborative moisturizer. The concept of collaborations never ceases to amaze me. Especially when it comes to consumer goods products. You can preserve and shelf a shoe, a t-shirt or a toy. But a plastic bottle of cream? I find it interesting that the point of it is that you will eventually use this collaboration all up and throw it away. Very interesting…Ephemeral collaborative products. Hell, it worked on me.

I had no idea she was a hippie!

looks like a Grateful Dead poster or t-shirt.

Do you think that some companies don’t have to or shouldn’t go so low as to “gimic” out their products in order for a wider spectrum of future customers??

You speak a lot about collabs. Isn’t this just a plug with a music artist??
