DOUGH TOSSER.


Seen that Visa commercial with the crazy pizza dough tosser? It’s pretty incredible. I started hunting down who that is because I wanted to see it live and eat there! Turns out it wasn’t shot in a real restaurant. It was a studio set and that man is Juan Hermosillo. He does own La Cocina de Isabel in Costa Mesa, California though. He represented the U.S. Pizza Team for the first time in 2005. Wait, US Pizza Team?!?! WTF is that??! Juan and his brother, Pedro Hermosillo, are co-owners of La Cocina. Here’s another video I found of him. I guess he made his start in Canada at the ubiquitous chain, Pizza Pizza.
あのピザ生地を投げる凄い職人が出ているVisaのCM見ましたか？かなり凄いです。実際にこの目で見て、食べてみたかったので、それが誰なのかリサーチをしました！結局あれは本当のレストランで撮られたものではありませんでした。スタジオのセットで、男の人はJuan Hermosillo。でも、彼はカルフォルニアのCosta MesaにあるLa Cocina de Isabelというレストランを経営しています。彼は2005年に始めてアメリカピザチームの代表を務めました。待って、アメリカピザチーム？！？！何だそれ？？！Juanと彼の兄弟、Pedro HermosilloはLa Cocinaの共同経営者です。こちらはもう一つ見つけたビデオです。カナダの有名なチェーン店Pizza Pizzaで彼のキャリアが始まったそうですね。
