UMBRO 3/30.




You might have been hearing the buzz all over the internet about the new England Umbro kits unveiled. As I posted before, Reed Annex was the NYC outpost for the launch of the new kit. Today (3/30/09) we will be hosting a special reception for our street culture community. Come through between 4pm and 7pm for some drinks and check out the new kits as well as the making of them with Aitor Throup. We’ll also be raffling the kits to some lucky soccer fans tonight.
新しく生まれ変わったUmbroイギリスキットの公開がインターネット上で話題になっていた事をご存知かもしれません。以前にもブログアップした通り、Reed Annexが新しいキットをリリースするためのニューヨーク拠点になりました。今日（2009年3月30日）、僕達はストリートカルチャーのコミュニティーのために特別なレセプションを主催します。16時から19時の間にドリンクを飲みながら新しいキットやAitor Throupと一緒に手がけたメイキングもご覧いただけます。また、今夜は幸運なサッカーファンにキットをプレゼントしちゃいます。

    That kit is so clean. I’ve heard a lot of comments that it’s too boring but I see beauty in its simplicity. I appreciate the construction of apparel, in which the detail of every piece is considered. It’s hard to find that kind of focus and dedication in the world these days. Wish I could be in NY to check them out at Reed Annex.
