Ridiculously, I had to go back to NYC for 72 hours, before boarding a plane and heading BACK out west to LA for some meetings. After two long days of meetings, I went out to John’s new crib for some chill laidback fun. Tony and Moses from Incase were also present and accounted for. First it was filling up on some great food cooked on the BBQ grill. Then some workout sessions whereby JM proceeded to literally kick my ass showing me some Israeli Krav Maga techniques. I got to do some moves in return though. If you see John on the street, try fucking with him. It’ll be fun to watch what happens.
とんでもないことにニューヨークに72時間だけ帰った後、またまた飛行機に乗ってミーティングのため西部のLAに戻らなくてはいけませんでした。ミーティング詰めの長い2日間の末、ゆっくりとチルするため僕はJohnの新しい家にいきました。IncaseのTonyとMosesも健在でした。まず最初に、バーベキューグリルを使ったおいしい手料理でお腹いっぱいに。次にワークアウトするため、イスラエルのクラヴマガの技を見せるという名目でJMにこてんぱんにやられてしまいました。仕返しに僕も挑戦。Johnを道で見かけたら、ちょっかい出してみては。どうなるかは見ものです。
After that, we went for a test drive in his new Audi R8. I gotta say…I was a little nervous about this. Not like I’m in any position to get him a new one in the event I drive this off a cliff or something. I survived hitting hairpin turns at 70+mph. Tony Stark level! その次に彼の新しいAudi R8のテストドライブをしにいきました。正直、ちょっと緊張しました。僕が運転して、崖から落っこちても新しい車を弁償できる立場ではないので。時速112キロでヘアピンカーブに成功。Tony Starkレベルです！
From there it was some laid back chillin’ and watching what this man does best.

I did not know that JM can throwdown like that?? Is JM wearing Terra Humaras?? Regardless, the R8 is a serious piece of machinery!! Any footage of the test drive???
I feel that Mayer is one of the least noticed blues guitar players going today. He has great phrasing, you can really see him in action in a video on youtube of him and Buddy Guy.
