“STPL” has grown to become the more sophisticated side of the Staple Clothing Collection. I never want to stop doing fun graphic tees, but I also enjoy maturing the collection to something I can wear properly in my mid-30s. (Sigh.)
Here’s a look at the STPL Spring 09 Collection.
This season’s theme is called The Photo Club. We shot the lookbook, from the viewpoint of the photographer. It was kind of cool. We had to set up the studio so it looked like a photo shoot and THEN set up another photo shoot to be shooting the photo shoot. Umm, confusing I know. But fun!

これがSTPL Spring 09 Collectionです。
今シーズンのテーマは写真クラブです。僕たちが写真家の観点からルックブックを撮りました。結構面白かった。スタジオを写真撮影現場に見えるようにセットアップし、もうひとつ撮影現場をセットアップして、撮影現場を撮影しました。ちょっと分かりにくいですよね。でも楽しかった！(All photos by Ana Leiva.)

looks fantastic. I was rocking the Stapleton + Chamber M65 combo today and feeling proper. The material on this season’s 65 looks amazing. Please don’t make me cop two next-to-identical joints…

I like the grid like details on the jackets and backpockets gives it a identity.
Is there a printed version of the Lookbook? Sorry I’m sitting here on the West Coast just imagining what an awesome printed piece this would be. (I know, don’t kill trees, save paper.)

Thanks! Glad y’all are feelin’ em. Sorry no printed version of the lookbook this season. We’re trying to keep it green. (As in save trees and save money!) All cut and sew will go down to a size “Small” which should fit most females. We have 2 womens sizes for tees. (Tees are from Wmns 1 – XXL)

1975 Denim: Slim cut like Levi’s 505.
1997 Denim: Looser like Evisu Raw Denim.

I like the clean style of S-388. This is something that fits in my casual and business wear. Please don’t advertise this, I want to make sure I get one in grey. Congrats on your Spring line.

Picked up the coach jacket; construction and quality is so on point… easily the best coach jacket I’ve ever owned. immense. Nice to see “Made In USA” on the care labels.
