The traveling just never ends. I’ve been on the road for seemingly FOREVER. Right after Tokyo, I flew straight into Las Vegas. If you ever want to experience Heaven and then Hell, go from Narita to McCarran. Direct. If you go to Vegas for tradeshow work, there is some consolation. Spas, Shrimp Cocktail, Funny People Watching, 2-5NL Hold ‘Em, Shooting Ranges, and of course JOLLIBEE. This time, it happened to be Nat’s BD and so a bunch of us headed over to celebrate over Burger Steak and Chicken Joy.
旅は終わりません。旅に出てからもう永遠に感じます。東京のすぐ後、ラスベガスに飛びました。天国のあとに地獄を体験したい方は成田からMcCarrenに行って見てください。直行で。まあ、トレードショーのためにラスベガスに行けば、得点はあります。スパ、えびのおつまみ、おもしろ人間観察、2-5NL Hold’Em、シューティングレンジともちろんJOLLIBEE。今回Natの誕生日でもあったのでBurger Steak and Chicken Joyでお祝いをしました。

Vegas is definitely trying to step up their restaurant game. Some really top quality chefs are opening shop in Vegas…but I still can’t help but feel like all the food comes from the same kitchen. One of the best bets for a SOLID meal is Ni9e at The Palms. Amazing steak over there. Also good is the Foundation Room at Mandalay Bay. I had dinner there with Raoul from Exposure and Fats from London. (Check out Exposure’s awesome website and see if you can spot the Staple 10th Anniv Be@rbrick.)
ラスベガスは最近レストランの質を上げようとしています。トップシェフたちが次々とラスベガスにお店を開いていますが。。。僕は食べ物すべてが同じ厨房から来ているとしか思えません。しっかりとした食事をしたい方にはThe PalmsにあるNi9eがお勧め。ステーキが最高。また、Mandalay BayのFoundation Roomもいいです。そこで、ExposureのRaoulとロンドンから来たFatsと食事をしました。(Exposureのかっこいいウェブサイトをチェックして、Staple 10周年記念Be@rbrickをみつけてみよう。）
