Summer went by quick didn’t it? In NYC, we were spared major meltdowns. All in all, it was a great summer. Now the weather cools, and I start to wonder how rough the winter will be. It’s always around this time that our Fall collection starts to trickle into stores. For Fall/Winter 2008, we explored the theme of Biology and Anatomy…Why? Maybe because I’m getting older and starting to understand how your health affects your outlook on life. We call it “The Science of Life”. Subtle references trace back to my days in lab class; with trench coats, clean buttondowns and graphics that drill home the idea of biology. Here’s the first (of many) waves.
夏はあっという間に終わりましたね。ニューヨークでは大きな問題も無く過ごせて、いい夏でした。涼しくなり、冬の寒さがどのくらい厳しくなるか考えてしまう頃です。この時期、僕たちの秋コレクションがお店に少しずつ流れ込みます。2008年秋冬では、生物学と解剖学のテーマを探究しました。。。なぜかって？僕が年をとってきて、健康がどの様に人生観に影響するかを理解しつつあるからかもしれません。僕たちはこれを「生命の科学」と呼びます。僕が理科室にいた頃を参考にしています：トレンチコート、すっきりとしたボタンダウンと生物学の観点から表現したグラフィック。これから出る数々の波の中の最初の波はこちら。
