Brooklyn was blessed with the presence of Takashi Murakami last week as he opened his first major museum retrospective in New York. I never got a chance to see the LA one (which I heard was better than NY’s). But I’m glad us New Yorker’s got a chance to check out his genius.
先週ブルックリンで、ニューヨークでははじめての村上隆氏の回顧展がオープンしました。ロスのは見に行く機会がありませんでした（ニューヨークよりいいと聞きましたが）。でも、僕たちニューヨーカーにも彼の天才ぶりを見ることが出来て良かったです。
This was calling my name…これは僕の名前を呼んでいました。
Then I came to find out the next remaining one available was #31 of 100. 31 was my hockey jersey number at NYU. It was also my beeper code (remember those??). I couldn’t resist.
次に売られていたのが限定100枚中の#31だったことを知りました。31は僕がNYUに通っていたときのホッケーの背番号でした。ポケベルのコードでもありました（ポケベル覚えてる??）。たまらず購入しちゃいました。

The following day, I had dinner with my colleague and friend from LVMH, Asako. She brought along her very multi-talented friend Seia. Dinner was at the amazing Bouley Restaurant in Tribeca.
次の日にLVMHの友達のAsakoさんと食事をしました。彼女の多才な友人のSeiaさんも一緒に。トライベッカにあるBouley Restaurantの夕食は最高でした。
