A collaboration I just saw that IS real AND dope is Burton x Carhartt. Really dope jackets coming this summer from the workwear and snowboarding giants. I just came back from a quick one day visit to Burlington, VT; home of Burton’s World HQ. Rumors have been swirling around for a while now, but I can safely announce that Staple has been working on Burton’s iDiom Collection for the past year. We’ve been hard at work, crafting the 2009 Collection with Hiroshi and Fragment Design. It’s really the best of both worlds…NYC + TOKYO…mixed with a love of snowboarding that both Hiroshi and I share. You can check his blog and see sneak previews of some of the styles. Now we’re knee deep on iDiom 2010. Hope everyone likes what we come up with. It ain’t easy being GREEN.
つい先日見たホンモノでヤバいコラボがバートンx カーハート。スノーボード界とワークウェア界の大物たちが、今年の夏に出すカッコイイジャケットに要注目です。実は、バートンの世界本部があるバーモント州のバーリントンから帰ってきたばかりなのです。かれこれうわさは出ていましたが、昨年ステイプルはバートンのiDiom Collection に携わっている事をやっとみんなに発表できます。藤原ヒロシ氏率いるフラグメント・デザインとともに2009年コレクションを一生懸命作り上げました。まさに、ヒロシ氏と僕が大好きなスノーボーに加えて、ニューヨーク＋東京の両方のいいトコ取りです。ヒロシ氏のブログ でチェックしてみて下さい。もうすでにiDiom 2010に取り掛かっている真っ最中です。皆さんに喜んでいただけるようにがんばります。GREENでいる事は大変です。
