I’m sorry…for all you guys out in Cali and Miami, Christmas just ain’t the same when you’re in shorts and its 90°. There is something about the snow, the wind and the cold. Well, regardless, I spent Xmas in Miami, FL with some friends and family. Other than the heat, its good to get out of NYC for a quick trip. I’m so used to flying to Asia or Europe that these 2-3 hour flights kind of mess me up. I prefer the 15 hr joints oddly enough.
Beat the traffic and the security lines. Heli…the only way to go.
First stop was hanging with the Spoonfed Crew, Al Moran and Bill Spector. Jose Parla b.k.a. Ease also joined and it was immediate culture shift! From 30° NYC to 80° in Miami chillin by the bay. These cats just RAN Miami and Art Basel with Jose’s Cityscapes exhibition. The show basically sold out and Jose is now rocking an IWC. Nuff said. Props to Jose and Spoonfed. If you weren’t in Miami, you guys can get the next best thing and pick up the book. Coming to Reed soon…
At the end of the day, all this hard work pays off when you can share some time with close friends and fam. Blood is thicker than water. Never forget where you came from.
