CIVIL LIBERTIES.

THIS JUST IN:
First Amendment / Freedom of Speech is now apparently void.
Mos Def gets arrested rapping about Hurricane Katrina and President Bush’s actions towards it.

Looking forward to the Salem Witch Hunts and McCarthyism making a comeback.

    Mos def is a legend.
    Free speech allows people to expose the lies and exploitation perpetrated by the government and obviously they dont want that.

    the arrest was for lack of city permit… IF (big if) it goes to court, it will ‘mos def’initely get tossed… not like he was hooked for disorderly conduct…. like epmd said ‘u gots to chill’… this isn’t a free speech issue.
