“Researchers at the Georgia Institute of Technology have completed a prototype device that can block digital-camera functions in a given area. Commercial versions of the technology could be used to stymie unwanted use of video and still cameras.”
It is not going to hurt the blogs, companies want the buzz and free publicity. The technology is great for privacy issues.

Check out the SonyEricsson k800i, there is a Blog function that allows you to upload directly from the phone using the 3,2 meg camera.
