NIKE AIR PRESTO WOVEN B

COMPANY: Nike
STYLE NAME: Air Presto Woven B
ALIAS: Presto Wovens
COLOR: Faded Olive / Walnut / Vegas Gold
STYLE #: 302840 321
SIZE: Medium (Mens 9-11)
COUNTRY OF MANUFACTURE: Vietnam
DATE MANUFACTURED: 09/11/2001
CONDITION: B+
ACQUIRED: AD21. Tokyo, Japan.
OTHER COMMENTS: I don’t know if people slept on these or if they were limited in release. But I don’t see many people with these on and when I rock them, people are suprised to see a Presto and Woven remixed. I fell in love with them immediately. I was already a huge Presto fan (as you’ll soon see) so when I walked into AD21 and saw these, I copped them immediately. AD21 was Nike’s concept shop in Harajuku. It was located on the ground floor of Hiroshi’s office building. For some reason, it closed and it’s now a Gravis store. The person who sold them to me was named Takashi. We got a long right away and hit it off. I try and see him everytime I go to Japan. Takashi went from working sales at AD21 to becoming head of Nike SB for Japan. He’s a good dude so that’s definitely the right place for him to be.
Interesting tidbit about these kicks: Check the manufacture date. 9/11/01. Creeeeeepy.

Nice Presto Wovens. I definitley have a thing for olive. The kid robots are fire aswell. No offers from me, as I am an aspiring staple committee member with no job right now. Anyway, I look forward to seeing more pics posted.

I got these aswell, bought them from a mom and pop shop out here in the sfzoo. I don’t think they are that rare or limited. They are real sick no doubt, and a surefire head twister.

I don’t wether I hate or love that I’m your size. I know I’ll be seeing some gems here.

    Dude..you SLEPT!
But I will say this (not to piss on ur cornflakes or anything)…but those outlet Presto Wovens you got are the later vision. An easy visual indiaction is the tongue logo. Yours is embroidered. Mine is a plastic badge. But the real difference is that on mine, the weaving is HAND done. On yours, they are machine weaved…which gives it a much tighter, taughter look and feel. To the avg dude, not a big difference…just thought i’d point that out.

i just got the ordinary gray/white presto wovens… still they are problebly one of the shoes ive worn the most. i love the fit the comfort, the style… its sick..

  7. A_O says:

i want ‘em but have no clue what to bid. I hope $45 US doesnt offend your shoe sense.

  8. Jeff says:

Jeff, Thanks for the insight on my outlet Prestos. Yeah, the tongue says 2002!
Either way, still a big fan of the Prestos.
    Keep em rocking.

    Jeff,

This is Jeff Carvalho over at weeklydrop.com sending a quick hello and
re:message on the Nike Presto Wovens you discuss in brief on your
    blog.

Below is a link to a pair I discovered myself at the Nike Outlet up in
North Conway, NH about 2 years ago. They were laying there with 3
others in my size for a massive $19.00/pair… on the closeout wall,
    believe it or not.

Like most things, hindsight always wins as I only took the one pair. I
could them now as I wear through this pair nicely.

Now I should add, that I am a outlet hunter when it comes to kicks; I
try to prove that anything can be found… just last year at the same
outlet I discovered a pair of Presto Wovens with some rasta
crossbraiding across a white lower… not my flavor but a peice of art
in its our right… and again, hindsight lost out. Cant win them all.

So keep rocking them. I wish I could score another pair to my collection.
Love the blog and I hope all is well.

    Best regards,

    Jeff

Nice. No clue how these run size-wise, but if they’re true I’d love to cop a 10.5. If they run tight, 11 would be great. No clue what these are worth, so how’s $70? I live in NYC and could pick them up at reed space. Get at me: apextec@yahoo.com.

  24. DShoez says:

  26. AnnB says:

Hi! I got all exited as I found this picture. I purchased mine for 170 euro, exactly the same ones including creepy manufacture date, in 2002 in Amsterdam. I was in a hurry, saw them out of the corner of my eye and had to get them. They fit to an amazing portion of my clothing and are indeed drawing looks. Never saw them anywhere else. Now they´ve definitely worn off and I would like to get new ones, just as good looking. Tough to find! Any recommendations?? Yours still exist?
