So it happened. For the first time in 25 years, trains & buses are not running because of a transit strike.
Apparently, Uptown Manhattan and the outer boros have turned into a parking lot of cars. But down here in Lower Manhattan, it’s a serene picture of tranquility…couldn’t be better. If I ever needed a reminder of why I don’t live and work in the outer boros, this is it.
